07 Jun Dark Sky® Alqueva is a Five Star Regions brand 2022

On Thursday, June 2nd, the ceremony for the delivery of the trophies to the winners of the 2022 Five Star Regions Award took place in Reguengos de Monsaraz. Dark Sky® Alqueva is thus a Five Star Regions brand for the second consecutive year, an award that shows its journey in the national market, along with Vila de Monsaraz and Praia Fluvial de Monsaraz, which were also awarded in this ceremony.

It was a great honor to have received this award in Reguengos de Monsaraz, the municipality where the headquarters of Dark Sky® Alqueva is located. In addition to our headquarters, it is in Cumeada, a village with the Best Tourism Village seal by the UNWTO since December 2021, that the Official Dark Sky® Alqueva Observatory is also installed in the former Primary School.

The “Cinco Estrelas” Regions Award also identifies highly relevant local brands that are of Portuguese origin. To this end, the Five Star Awards methodology is used, which measures the degree of global consumer satisfaction, taking into account the 5 main criteria that influence their purchase or adhesion decision (Satisfaction through experimentation, Price-quality ratio, Intension of Purchase or Recommendation, Brand Trust and Innovation), in 3 different and complementary situations: Evaluation Committee; Experimentation Tests and Mass Evaluation Questionnaires.
