The Dark Sky\u00ae Association, located in Portugal, has achieved two recognitions in the\u00a0<\/span>same year of 2020, for its great performance and business leadership, <\/span>THE BIZZ <\/b>Award\u00a0<\/span>and <\/span>THE PEAK OF SUCCESS <\/b>Award. These recognitions will be granted on November\u00a0<\/span>26, 2020 in the gala ceremony to be held at Marsa Malaz Kempinski, The Pearl \u2013 Doha\u00a0<\/span>and on May 28, 2021 at The Sheraton Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span>In previous editions, The BIZZ Awards were held in cities such as Houston, New York,\u00a0<\/span>Punta Cana, Panama, Cusco, Rome, Mumbai, Orlando, Barcelona, Miami\/ Bahamas,\u00a0<\/span>Doha, Paris, Los Cabos, Dubai, Venice, Hawaii, Abu Dhabi, Athens, Las Vegas, Muscat,\u00a0<\/span>Washington and Monaco.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

WORLDCOB <\/b>is a leading business organization located in Houston, Texas, that promotes\u00a0<\/span>the development and growth of more than 3,500 companies in over 120 countries and\u00a0<\/span>recognizes and boosts the growth of the outstanding companies and business people as\u00a0<\/span>well as promoting the corporate social responsibility. With this triumph, Dark Sky\u00ae Association becomes a member of WORLDCOB alongside\u00a0<\/span>large corporations. The recognition gained will allow growth at a business level because it\u00a0<\/span>increases the capacity for business relationship, generates more business and revitalizes\u00a0<\/span>the corporate image. Dark Sky\u00ae Association has been considered as a Platinum Member\u00a0<\/span>of WORLDCOB which will allow the generation of businesses among the members of\u00a0<\/span>WORLDCOB and promote the socially responsible corporate culture.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Dark Sky\u00ae Association is a pioneer in the development of astrotourism and created its\u00a0<\/span>first destination in 2007, Dark Sky\u00ae Alqueva. Dark Sky\u00ae Alqueva is the first Starlight\u00a0<\/span>Tourism Destination in the world and the first cross-border certified. <\/span>Certified since 2011 by\u00a0<\/span>Starlight Foundation, this destination currently comprises of 10 municipalities in Portugal\u00a0<\/span>and 13 municipalities in Spain, in an area of almost 10.000 square kilometers. Dark Sky\u00ae\u00a0<\/span>Alqueva is an internationally awarded destination, having received the Ulysses Award –\u00a0<\/span>First Runner Up (UNWTO), the ETIS Award (European Commission), Europe\u2019s Best\u00a0<\/span>Responsible Tourism Award 2019 (World Travel Awards) and Europe\u2019s Leading Tourist\u00a0<\/span>Destination 2020 (Corporate Travel Awards).<\/span><\/p>\n
